BOTOX® Procedure

You will fill out the form before the appointment and consult the doctor, or licensed staff of aestheticians who will answer your questions. You will be asked about expectations for treatment and allergies if any. Your doctor will examine the location, size, and use of the muscles that create a furrowed brow. There is no anesthesia required for this treatment although few cold pack to numb the area or anesthetic cream.

The injection process
The entire BOTOX® Cosmetic injection procedure takes approximately 10 minutes. A few tiny injections directly into the muscles and the frown lines; will do it. There is no downtime to it, no need for recovery. It can be done even in the lunch break. Surprised!

You will notice improvement in few days, in the moderate to severe frown lines between your brows that can last up to 4 months. Results may vary.

Side Effects
Some patients may follow with Common side effects following injection include temporary eyelid droop and nausea. In special cases they might suffer from Localized pain, tenderness, infection, swelling, redness, and/or bleeding. Patients with certain neuromuscular disorders such as ALS, myasthenia gravis, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome may be at greater risk of serious side effects.
